Khwaab ⇄ Silsile
"dekha ek khwaab toh ye silsile hue,
dur tak nigaho mein ye gul khile hue."
These two lines have been on my mind since I heard them, and that was only a week ago - thanks to the endless Instagram reels. Ah, the joys of mindlessly scrolling through an endless abyss of content. It's truly a modern-day treasure trove of wisdom, isn't it? I mean if your algorithm hasn't been set in a way that pushes out only "uncle ji mujhe paneeee pila dijiye" or "us bhai us" dank memes, I guess you can somewhat learn something about some things that can actually help you like it did to me (cue dramatic eye roll). But hey, don't forget to check out the name of this blog, because it's totally relevant (not really, but let's pretend).
These lines have resonated with me so much that I have also taken the liberty of transcribing them onto a piece of fancy paper. And where did I decide to display this profound piece of literary artistry? Oh, right next to my Batman/Christian Bale poster, of course! Because nothing says deep and thought-provoking like the Caped Crusader.
Maybe the reason I fell for these lines is the fact that I am in that phase of my life when all the gul khilana is coming to an end and the phase of running behind the motion that your khwaab, has set in life.
Well, you will know what this khwaab of mine is gradually, till then you can go indulge in the auditory or visual or both pleasure the song has to offer. Or even watch the movie.
Wow, that was like a breath of fresh air for my mind. Your razor-sharp wit and ironic commentary had me grinning from ear to ear, while the precision of your insights and the finesse of your prose left me craving for more. Encore!
